Railfaning around Kansas City

Haven’t posted anything on here in quite a while because most of my time these past few months has been spent (when I’m not working, sleeping or with my wife and daughter), in working on a couple of book projects as well as being engaged in a toy drive we do for Children’s Mercy Hospital. As a matter of a fact, right now I am with my daughter at Headrush Coffee & Tea Roasters hoping to have some folks come to donate toys for the toy drive . We had an event at Papas Coffee Express a couple Saturdays ago that included music and a cartoon artist.

But I thought I would get on here and just share some photos and some of my You-Tube videos from railfaning I have done around the Kansas City area in the last few months. Hope to get back to that soon as I have had cell phone issues that have prevented me from doing any the last couple weeks.

This is a crossing in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Took this on my way home from doing a radio show I did in Excelsior for the first eight months of 2014.

Here are the tracks from that crossing, looking Northbound

Here is a railroad bridge, just East of southbound 69 Highway as I was headed out of Excelsior Springs

Railroad bridge in Moberly, Missouri just East of NB 69 Hwy.

Crossing on Main St in Downtown Parkville, Missouri

Missouri Pacific car on display in Downtown Parkville, Mo. I have relatives that worked for the Mo Pacific so this is a cool one for me personally and is my profile photo on Twitter.

I also want to invite you to check out my friend Shane from Heartland N Trak Of Greater KC’S  YouTube Channel thebrakeman17 for videos like these:

Until next time, keep leaving Legacies…….On The Rails!
